- Accumulator
- An accumulator is a single bet that combines multiple selections; all of them must win for you to get a payout.
- Asian Handicap
- Asian Handicap gives a virtual advantage or disadvantage to a team to eliminate the draw and create closer odds.
- Bankroll
- Bankroll is the total money you have set aside for placing bets.
- Bet Builder
- Bet Builder lets you combine different outcomes from the same match, such as goals, cards, and corners, into one wager.
- Bet Slip
- A Bet Slip is the record that shows the selections you have made and the potential payout.
- Cash Out
- Cash Out allows you to settle a bet before the event ends, locking in a profit or cutting a loss.
- Double Chance
- Double Chance covers two of the three possible outcomes in a match, increasing your chance of winning.
- Edge
- Edge is the perceived advantage a bettor believes they have over the bookmaker’s odds.
- European Handicap
- European Handicap applies a handicap that includes the draw as an outcome, unlike the Asian version.
- First Goalscorer
- First Goalscorer is a bet on which player will score the opening goal of the match.
- Half-Time/Full-Time
- Half-Time/Full-Time is a bet that predicts both the score at half-time and the final result.
- In-Play
- In-Play betting lets you place bets on a match while it is happening, with odds that change as the game unfolds.
- Kelly Criterion
- Kelly Criterion is a formula that calculates the optimal fraction of your bankroll to bet based on your perceived edge.
- Lay
- Lay means to bet that an outcome will not happen, typically used on betting exchanges.
- Live Betting
- Live Betting is the same as In-Play, allowing you to wager on events as they occur.
- Margin
- Margin is the bookmaker’s built-in profit, often called juice or vig, which is included in the odds.
- Odds Format
- Odds Format is the way odds are displayed, such as decimal, fractional, or moneyline.
- Over/Under
- Over/Under is a bet on whether a specific statistic, like total goals, will be above or below a set number.
- Parlay
- Parlay is a bet that links two or more selections; all must win for you to receive a payout.
- Punter
- Punter is a term for a person who places bets.
- RTP
- RTP (Return to Player) is the percentage of total money wagered on a game that is paid back to players over time.
- Stake
- Stake is the amount of money you risk on a bet.
- Value Bet
- Value Bet is a wager where the odds offered are higher than the true probability, suggesting an expected profit.
- Volatility
- Volatility indicates how risky a bet or game is by showing how often and how large the payouts tend to be.
- Wagering Requirement
- A wagering requirement is the number of times you must bet a bonus amount before you can withdraw any winnings.
